We are Global

We are Global

With the earth being the divine collaborator between our local and global communities, the natural world has become the source of a harmonious bridge towards connection.

We are intertwined like seasons; sharing the need to breathe in the life sustaining force of our forests, drink from the well of our fresh rivers, thrive on the wellbeing in our gardens, and feel safe from the elements that both influence and demand of us.

Seeing our planet as one living being relates to seeing ourselves as an active participant in the whole, and that every aspect of our being is interconnected.

As individuals woven into the collective experience, Mother Nature teaches us the principles of what we can call the “Radical Reflection.” It is both a purposeful love and a meaningful coincidence that we exist in this timeline. Our communities highlight this by a seemingly miraculous crossing of paths with the right people at the right time for a shared benefit.

How beautiful is it to witness ourselves in such an expansive and integrated alignment?

The nature of community has always been designed to expand, as with Nature, designed to thrive and sustain. Within the Rasa Yoga Collective, we are taught that the circle is always open, and never broken. From local to global, community deepens the light of our awareness to enrich the world around us. When voices align invested in a similar outcome, mountains are moved with ease, and what was once a trial becomes a triumph. The support of perspective is greater than we think. We can often see this reflected as “one seed, many fruits.”

Just as the earth holds us all, our communities cultivate a deep sense of belonging. That, in turn, makes us feel we are part of something greater than ourselves, validates interests, creates shared identities, and improves mental health. The essentials to enjoying a fulfilling life are rooted in the values, goals, support, and relationships of our communities. It is in our greatest wellbeing that we aspire to inspire each other and stay informed within and around our differences that make us stronger. Understanding the “unity” in our community is what connects hearts close to home even if we live worlds apart.

In these modern times, we are fortunate for connections that cross state lines, countries, and borders arriving at the intersection of a shared vision. Even if we do not speak the same language, we can align with the desire for a similar goal to amplify the vision. While our uniqueness is our power, there is great strength in numbers. As we expand our horizons, our communities are reaching greater heights than ever before. Nature knows best, and it’s the diversity of insights that keeps the movement fertile in which to grow. So if the grass is only greener where you water it, how many of us are willing to untangle the hose?

From local to global, our radical reflections cultivate the possibilities within each and every one of us. So whatever side of the planet this is reaching you from, know that you are welcome, and it’s a thrill to have you along for this earth walk.

How are you putting the “glow” in global?

When you think of your community, what stands out to you?

What is something positive your community has instilled in you?

In what ways do you give back to your community?

What are three values you admire when connecting with your community
