Rasa Inspired Teacher
You’ve completed:
(1) 200hr Rasa Teacher Training
OR
(1) 300hr Rasa Teacher Training
AND
Received teacher trainer’s approval
1 year minimum teaching experience
6 months minimum practicing Rasa Yoga
10 hours of Anti-Racism study with Michelle C. Johnson / comparable Social Justice Educator {this requirement is for non-BIPOC (Black Indigenous, Person of Color) only }.
What does this mean?
You’re name, social media information, location + website can be included in our Online Global Directory (coming soon)
You can call your classes Rasa Inspired Yoga
(NOT a Rasa Yoga Class)You can mention in your bio that you’re a
Rasa Inspired TeacherYou can be featured on our Rasa Yoga Instagram and Facebook pages
RASA CERTIFIED Teacher
You’ve completed:
500hr Rasa Yoga Teacher Training (Rasa 200-hr TT AND Rasa 300-hr TT)
Received Teacher Trainer’s approval
OR
(on a case by case basis, if taking the 300 with Sianna and/or Greta is not possible)
1 Rasa Yoga Teacher Training + combination of Soul Alchemy Hours = 500 hours
10 hours of Anti-Racism study with Michelle C. Johnson / comparable Social Justice Educator {this requirement is for non-BIPOC (Black Indigenious, Person of Color) only }.
Trainer evaluates the student-teacher's full class (online, in-person, or a video) to access when they are ready to hold Rasa Certified teacher status. More guidelines and criteria to be provided to the trainers. A certification fee for your trainer’s time may be applied.
What does this mean?
You’ll receive a Rasa Yoga “branding” kit.
Can brand the following as Rasa Yoga: yoga classes, workshops, and retreats
(this does NOT certify you to teach Rasa Teacher training)Annual $108 fee which includes directory feature with headshot, social media promo, and Rasa Yoga branding kit.
FAQ
1.) What do I call myself the day I graduate a 200-Hour Rasa Yoga Training?
You are now a Rasa Yoga Graduate! You may register with the Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200, and include in your bio, that you’ve graduated / completed a Rasa Yoga 200hr TT. You must fulfill the requirements above before calling your class “Rasa Yoga”.
2.) What are Soul Alchemy Hours?
These are hours combined from various classes, workshops, and trainings, to deepen your studies and work towards the 1008-Hour Rasa Yoga certification. These include but are not limited to: workshops hosted by Sianna, Greta, Rasa Yoga Teacher Trainers, and various offerings by Rasa Yoga Guest Teachers.
If an offering qualifies as Soul Alchemy hours, it will be advertised as such. If you have studied with one of our featured guest teachers, please reach out to us with the name of the teacher and event, and we will determine the amount of Soul Alchemy hours given. Please keep track of all of your study and training hours within the Rasa Yoga School. As we develop this pathway, it will be beneficial to have these hours logged.
