Leo Season Sparks Again

The vibrancy of Summer days bestows us with a sense of lively, radiant, joy just as the Sun in Leo would have it. There’s no denying a certain spark in the air that warms our hearts and sets the stage with the thrill of magnificent natural settings, freedoms, adventures, manifestations, and feeling alive with the glow of the season. Leo reminds us to tend to our creative urges that live out loud, feed our Spirited energy, and help us to shine brighter than ever. The lion takes action for the greater good and the necessary space to do so along the way!

In this season we are under the impression of stabilizing fire energy — as Leo’s are a fixed sign knowing the power held in both creation and destruction. Fire is a challenging element to contain, with proof being at least six major regions in the world on fire right now. Climate change has increased the odds of large, destructive fires occurring more readily and rapidly, currently spreading in Western North America, Northwest Ontario, Siberia, Western Mediterranean, Turkey, and Finland.

“The World is on Fire” they say, yet it’s no coincidence that things are raging and culminating during the season of the Sun. With grasses and trees drying out due to the heat, minimal rains, and an increase in human interference with the natural processes we are in the midst of a wildfire crisis within an already devastating climate crisis which poses as one of the greatest disservices to all residing on this beautiful planet.

If Leo, and ultimately fire, can ignite us with both creative and destructive energy we must see through the smoke of our demise with courage to create a better future. We must be the main characters in rewriting the stories we tell of history. We must stay passionate about the goals we wish to achieve and remember that it takes a village. We must know that transformation and purification are embedded in the smoldering embers. We must engage with policies for change in unity, confidence, and determination as a collective. We must lead by righteous example to set the tone and lay the stone for new desired outcomes.

Fire is a powerful sign, element, and teacher  — from the dark comes light and if properly tended to can illuminate, cleanse, and empower in favor of the highest good. One must only set new priorities in motion. Together we can shift from trails burning to trailblazing a more equitable world for all, this is the spark Leo calls into action.

With Love,

Rosie
